HHUNTSVILLE, AL (September 30, 2024) – homeRN, a leading provider of personalized in-home healthcare services, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest franchise: homeRN Huntsville, set to open on October 1st. This marks a special milestone in homeRN's growth, as the Huntsville location will be led by the company’s current Director of Franchise Development, Rachel Johannes.

As an integral part of the homeRN corporate team, Rachel has played a pivotal role in supporting the launch and success of several franchise locations across the region. Armed with an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama's Capstone College of Nursing and a master's in nursing administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, she brings a wealth of clinical knowledge to her new role as franchise owner.

"I joined homeRN in 2021, starting as a part-time nurse, and quickly became passionate about our mission to provide personalized, premium in-home care," shares Johannes. "Now, as Director of Development, I have supported new franchisees through the complex process of launching their locations. With this experience, I am excited to bring homeRN’s top-tier care to the Huntsville community that I know and love."

Rachel has seen firsthand the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care. Her deep ties to the Huntsville area, along with her unique insights gained from working on the homeRN corporate team, make her the perfect fit to lead this new location. "Rachel is unbelievably equipped to succeed in the Huntsville area," says Eliza Maxwell, Founder and CEO of homeRN. "Rachel believes in the model, the mission, and the training, and I believe in her.”

The opening of homeRN Huntsville also represents a strategic expansion for the brand, catering to the needs of a growing population in the area. "Huntsville Hospital, the largest in North Alabama, is a key pillar of the local healthcare landscape, and I am eager to collaborate with local healthcare providers to enhance the services available to residents," adds Johannes. "Our personal touch, community connections, and commitment to going the extra mile will set homeRN Huntsville apart from other in-home healthcare providers."
